(KMOV) – Winter-like weather struck the St. Louis area Thursday morning, a trend expected to continue over the next couple of days.
Temperatures were around 32 degrees to kick off the morning and are projected to reach a high of about 55 by 12 p.m.
“It’s going to be mostly sunny with a cool breeze,” said News 4 Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt.
According to Ehrhardt, temperatures will drop to the low mid 40s by 6 p.m., making for a chilly evening commute.
Thursday evening will see a low of 33, with mostly clear conditions.
Looking ahead, the cold weather is expected to stick around Friday morning with temperatures staying into the low 30s. Friday’s high is expected to be about 58 degrees.
