March 29, 1:20 p.m. - I love it. Yadi out telling Garcia what he's doing wrong mechanically with his delivery. Pretty cool.
March 29, 1:17 p.m. - I just realized. This is the first time Jaime's gone 5 innings this spring! Woo hoo!
March 29, 1:11 p.m. - Make it 5 IP...3 H...R allowed for Garcia so far today. Had one slight hiccup of an inning in the 4th but made a great pitch to Hanley to minimize that damage. Overall, as of now, a terrific dress rehearsal for him this afternoon.
March 29, 12:54 p.m. - But Skip makes up for it by being the middle man on a crucial 5-4-3 DP on Hanley Ramirez. Say whatcha want about his fielding...but the man has one heck of an arm.
March 29, 12:52 p.m. - Ball gets under Skip's glove. Tough play but one that needs to be made.
March 29, 12:51 p.m. - Leave it to a former Rookie of the Year (Chris Coghlan) to break up Jaime's no-no.
March 29, 12:46 p.m. - Man, I thought Rasmus had a 2nd bomb today. Just missed it. Flew out to right.
March 29, 12:43 p.m. - That's 4 K's in a row for Jaime. Perfect through 3. Looks great.
March 29, 12:36 p.m. - Jaime Garcia is on FIRE. Struck out 4 in a row. Ya think it was important for him to see results today? I'd say so.
March 29, 12:24 p.m. - Garcia off to a much better start today compared to, well, every other one. Change up looks good. Keeping the ball down. Not bad. Now he's gotta sustain it.
March 29, 12:19 p.m. - After 6 weeks I'm still not feeling this new hairdo by Rasmus. But as long as he's ripping balls for HRs like he did off Vasquez...I'm cool with that.
March 29, 8:04 a.m. - You know it's the end of spring training when the entire clubhouse is packed with luggage and guys are bringing their suits to travel in back to St. Louis.
March 29, 7:51 a.m. - Final lineup of spring: Theriot 6...Rasmus 8...Pujols 3...Craig 7...Berkman 9...Freese 5...Molina 2...Schumaker 4...Garcia 1
