(KMOV.com) -- A wet, slippery snow blanketed the St. Louis area on Saturday and turned the first week of Spring into a winter wonderland. Saturday's snow is gone, but more is on the way.

Snow is creeping in on the St. Louis area. Light showers could mix with or change over to light snow mainly in the southern portions of the News 4 viewing area. Rain and snow is expected to last throughout the Sunday night and into Monday morning. Light accumulations are possible.

A freeze warning was lifted for the St. Louis area early Monday morning. Morning temperatures will be in the upper 20s. Watch for slick spots on bridges and overpasses for your Monday morning commute.
Monday will be a short reprieve from the wintry weather. More snow is expected on Tuesday and will later change over to rain. Some good news on the horizon is a late week warm-up with temperatures jumping into the 60s.
