Metropolis St. Louis-Wine Club - South American Wines and Art. 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Syndicate Lofts Galleries - 915 Olive Street. Sample South American wines and the work of 27 local artists in the four galleries of the Syndicate Building. Each guest brings a bottle of wine from Chile, Argentina, Brazil or Uruguay or a plate of appetizers to share.

Friday March 25:
 
Cocktail party at Schon, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m, #30 The Boulevard.  The party will feature award winning photographer, Carolyn Schleutter, upcycled/recycled jewelry by Beqi Brinkhorst and Laurie Rothemeyer from Design 522. All guests will receive complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine, cheese and desserts. Minimum $10 suggested donation to benefit the National Children's Cancer Society. Space is limited to 100 people, so please RSVP to schonbymj@gmail.com.
 
Party At The Park at Fairmount Park in the Back Stallion Room. $13 gets you eight live races, live music and an appetizer buffet.
 
Sips In The City.  With a $5 donation, guests receive a complimentary glass of wine and a beer while enjoying free appetizers. 100% of proceeds will benefit Center for Hearing & Speech.   5pm-7pm   Culinaria Wine Bar (9th and Olive Street, Downtown).
Friday & Saturday March 25-26:
Schlafly Stout and Oyster Festival at the Schlafly Tap Room. Over 30,000 fresh oysters and teams of star shuckers from both coasts are flown in offering a tantalizing array of dishes, like gumbo, Rockefeller, fried, Po-Boy, and grilled.  2100 Locust Street. 
 
Saturday March 26:
 
Tacky Ball - Support Dogs, Inc.  6:00pm - 11:00pmFlapper beads, felt fedoras, and G-Men all come together for the 2011 Tacky Ball - The Dogfather, A Gala You Can't Refuse!  Attendees will enjoy dinner, drinks, silent and live auctions, and dance to the sounds of Dr. Zhivegas. 'Cancer Sucks' Pub Crawl, benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event includes raffles, challenges, drink specials, and more! Participating restaurants include Felix’s, Pat’s Bar and Grill, Seamus McDaniels, Latitude 26, and La Gra Italian Tapas & Wine Bar. 1pm, Dogtown.
Lvn 2b Well Lounge Pre Party.  9:30am-1pm at Center of Clayton-50 Gay Avenue. Come hang out in the LVN2BWELL Lounge and help kick off the upcoming week’s wellness festivities. LVN2BWELL Lounge guests can sample special products, services, and activities from participating partners.  
Sunday March 27:
Iron Bartender Contest.  Watch the top 6 finalists throw down in hopes to be crowned “St. Louis’ Iron Bartender”. Winner will walk away with $500 cash and be featured in ALIVE Magazine. 8pm at Lucas Park Grille (1234 Washington Ave).
