No MetroLink service this weekend between Union Station and Central West End

(KMOV)-- MetroLink will not be in service this and next weekend between Union Station and Central West End due to demolition of the Grand Bridge.
Metro will shuttle customers by bus from 4 a.m. Saturday until 1:30 a.m. Monday morning. The section of track beneath Grand Boulevard is expected to reopen by start of MetroLink service each Monday morning.
The train will not make stops at the Grand station. Customers who usually board at Grand should use the stop at Union Station and then connect to the 70 Grand bus. The bus will serve as the Grand MetroLink station.
Metro says customers should expect 10 minute delays during these weekends. Patrons traveling near the Grand Bridge construction project should plan to wait an extra 15-20 minutes.
While the city replaces the bridge, Metro will construct a new Transit Plaza at the Grand MetroLink station, which will feature seating, ticket vending and a new park-ride lot.
