(KMOV) – The 11th annual CANstruction Competition will be held Friday through Monday, March 28th at the St. Louis Science Center.
Sculptures will be built from donated canned goods. The canned good sculptures are created by teams of architects, engineers and students.
The canned goods will be donated to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry and the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
St. Louis ranked 9th out of 180 cities participating in CANstruction last year. St. Louis donated 42,720 pounds of food.
Visitors to the Science Center who donate cans will receive $1 off an OMNIMAX film.
