Police searching for suspect accused of robbing St. Charles gas station twice

(KMOV)-- Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing the Moto Mart at 2801 North Highway 94 in St. Charles. This is the second time this gas station has been robbed recently.

Authorities said the suspect entered the gas station around 4:35 a.m. Thursday armed with a dark semi-auto handgun and demanded money from the two employees inside.

The suspect is described as a white male, age 25-35 years old, 5'6" to 5'10", medium to heavy build, wearing blue jeans, dark colored sweatshirt, Grey stocking cap, and dark work gloves.

He was in the business several minutes before leaving out the front doors and heading south on foot.

On February 21, the gas station was robbed by a knife welding suspect. That suspect was described as a white male, age 25-35, 5'6" to 5'10", medium build, faded blue jeans, dark hoodie with black on his face, and wearing pink swim goggles.
