ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A proposal to ban red light cameras in St. Charles County easily passed Tuesday night.

A majority of voters, 73 percent, voted to ban the cameras in the county.

Some cities in St. Charles County are saying it should be their right to decide whether they use the cameras, not the county’s choice. Which could mean the debate of the use of the cameras may not be over.
