ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Emergency crews responded to Union Station Monday morning after a report that a person was struck by a train.
The incident happened on the MetroLink tracks at Union Station before 9:00 a.m.
One person, a 63-year-old Leslie Lively, was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Lively was reportedly found trapped under the train. Police said he was walking across the train tracks and did not move when the train operator sounded the horn.
Metro said it will investigate the accident to see if it could have been avoided.
