ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Trick or Treaters in St. Louis will need to be bundle-up!
A blast of Arctic air arrives just in time for Trick or Treat Friday! News 4's Meghan Danahey said high temperatures will be in the upper 40s, but it will feel even colder with winds gusting to 30 mph out of the NW. That will keep wind chill readings in the 30s allday, with chills falling into the upper 20s at 10pm and later.
We will see a widespread frost all across the area after 1:00 am Saturday. Temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s by sunrise Saturday, so a Freeze Watch is currently in effect from Friday night into Saturday morning.
This is right on schedule. The faverage "first freeze" in the St. Louis area is October 31.
