ALORTON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A suspected killer is in jail for a fatal shooting in Alorton.

Luigi Moore, 33, is charged with first-degree murder.

According to prosecutors, Moore shot 30-year-old Darrian Massey in the head. Massey’s body was found last week near the intersection of 42nd Street and Bond Avenue.

Police said tips from the public led to Moore’s arrest. Investigators with Alorton, Centreville and Illinois State Police were involved in Moore’s capture.

Moore is being held on a $1 million bond.
