FERGUSON, Mo (KMOV.com) – Officials cut the ribbon on a new location for the “I Love Ferguson” program on Friday.
The building space was donated along with all the supplies for remodeling the space. Volunteers did a majority of the work.
“The generosity of the businesses and residents is just wonderful,” said Brian Fletcher of the I Love Ferguson Committee. “I’m brought to tears. The outreach and warmth of people in this community has not stopped since the tragedy of Michael Brown’s death.”
As part of the ceremony, the committee presented a $5000 check to the Reinvest North County
Fund. $10,000 dollars total have been given to the fund which helps small businesses impacted by the protests.
