CENTREVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Better healthcare and new jobs are on the way to Centreville, Illinois.
On Thursday, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn announced a $3 million expansion of the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation Mother and Child Center. The money will go to helping to renovate the existing center and to expanding services.
“An investment in this community health center in Centreville is an investment in the health and wellness of the people of the entire region,” Governor Quinn said in a press release. “These clinics ensure that everyone has access to the services they need.”
The expansion could mean 200 new jobs and more quality healthcare to the area.
