What's with 42? Baseball honors Robinson

(KMOV) -- If you are wondering why Albert Pujols, Yadier Molina and every other baseball player is wearing 42.

On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson put on Dodger blue and broke baseball's "color line," changing the sports world forever.

All players wear Robinson's number, 42, to commemorate the historic day.

Major League Baseball retired Robinson's number on the 50th anniversary in 1997. This is the second year all players have worn his number.
