2 Teens accused of damaging Blagojevich home

CHICAGO (AP) -- Police in Chicago say two teenagers are facing charges after throwing a bottle through a window at the home of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Authorities say former first lady Patti Blagojevich was home when the incident happened Wednesday. She saw the teens and called police.

Police say the 16-year-old boys were caught a short time later. They're charged with felony criminal damage to property.

Police say it isn't clear what the teens' motive was or if they knew it was the former governor's home.

Rod Blagojevich is slated to go on trial June 3. He's pleaded not guilty to charges that accuse him of scheming to sell or trade President Barack Obama's former U.S. Senate seat and illegally pressuring prospective campaign contributors.
