3-Year-old home after being grazed by stray bullet

KMOV) -- A three-year-old girl is back at home after being hit by a stray bullet earlier this week.

It happened around 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday at a home not far from the Edward Jones Dome on North 8th Street.
According to St. Louis police, the girl's  22-year-old father was outside a home in the 1400 block of North 8th Street when he saw a sliver Dodge Charger with tinted windows drive by and fire shots at him. The man ran to a friend's house and after about an hour he returned home. That's when he found the little girl inside the home. Her head had been grazed by a bullet. The suspect is in custody but has not been charged.
The bullet that hit the little girl ricocheted through a front door and grazed the girl’s head.
Investigators tell News 4 that shell casings were found inside the home.
