(KMOV) -- St. Louis police are investigating a drive-by-shooting that left an 86-year-old woman injured.
It happened in the 2200 block of East Prairie overnight on Sunday.
Authorities say the woman was in bed when shots were fired at her house and bullet fragments or shattered glass struck her leg. The elderly woman is expected to be okay.
Police believe the shooters were targeting the woman’s grandson who they describe as a known gang member.
