(KMOV) -- The body two Maryland Heights teenagers found has been identified as a woman who was reported missing.
According to police, the teens were searching for mushrooms around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday when they found the badly decomposed body of 57-year-old Sherry Lynn Brown on the bank of Fee Fee Creek. Brown was reported missing to the St. Louis County Police Department on November 18, 2009.
Authorities said there were no obvious signs of trauma to her body. The preliminary cause of death has been ruled drowning/exposure.
Police used dental records to make the identification.
