St. Peters police searching for suspect who robbed business

 (KMOV)-- St. Peters police are searching for a suspect who robbed a business.

Authorities said the suspect entered Fast Signs at the 400 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspect told employees he had a gun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the business and the employee’s purse.

The suspect was described as a black male in his late 30’s to early 40’s. He's approximately 5’5" – 5’6", medium build, short black hair, and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red and white jacket with a red Cardinals baseball hat.

He was last seen leaving the area in a late 80’s or early 90’s light blue Lincoln Town car. That car was operated by a black male in his late 30’s to early 40’s, wearing a fedora hat. The vehicle fled the area in an unknown direction.
