St. Louis police arrest woman charged with murder

(KMOV) -- A woman wanted by St. Louis police in connection with a murder case is now in custody.

Tizzy Dickerson, 30, has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for a homicide that happened on January 12, 2010, at Kossuth & Peck.

Witnesses tell police that Lamont Collins, 36, was intentionally struck by a vehicle that then drove away.

Investigators say that Collins was got into an argument with several people while inside Marsha's Bar & Grill. The argument then turned physical and spilled out into the street. Authorities say that Collins eventually collapsed.

Witnesses tell police that the people Collins was fighting with got into a car, ran him over and then drove away.

Collins was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have not said whether or not Dickerson was the driver of the vehicle that struck Collins.
