(KMOV) -- Belleville residents could find out if they have to pay a $20 tax to drive their car.
The city council is set to vote on Monday night.
Mayor Mark Eckert says he's asking city leaders for a two-year tax.
At the end of the two years, city leaders would reconsider the tax.
The goal is to collect $650,000 to help balance the city budget.
Residents at last week's city council meeting were strongly stating their opinions against the tax.
