(KMOV) -- Belleville city leaders will vote on a proposed wheel tax on Monday night.That plan could add a $20 tax on vehicles registered in Belleville in an effort to balance the city's budget.
Mayor Mark Eckert says he will ask city leaders for a two-year tax. At the end of two years, city leaders would reconsider the tax. The goal is to generate $650,000 in revenues to help balance the city budget.
