JUPITER, Fla. (KMOV) - Today marks the Cardinals second to last Grapefruit League game and, more importantly of course, my last day in Florida.

Adam Wainwright will make his final start of the spring against the Washington Nationals, a team he's pitched against twice already this Grapefruit League season. Wainwright's had an up-and-down spring, entering today's game with a 5.29 ERA in 17 inning pitched. He'll face a watered-down Nationals lineup deprived of big bats Ryan Zimmerman and Adam Dunn.

The Cardinals lineup will battle left-handed hurler John Lannan, who is pitching against St. Louis for the third time this spring.

Random Notes:

- With yesterday's win, the Cardinals have locked up a winning Grapefruit League record for the eight consecutive year dating back to 2003.

- Catcher Bryan Anderson has been moved up to Cardinals camp to be the backup catcher for however long Jason LaRue is out, who hurt his left hand in yesterday's game against the New York Met. Matt Pagnozzi will start for the time being while Molina and LaRue are out.
