If today was a boxing match for deciding who would be the #1 pick in the NFL Draft then the referee would have called the fight.
Quarterback Sam Bradford did everything he could possibly do today to alleviate concerns about his health and has solidified his position as not only the top quarterback in the 2010 NFL Draft class but most likely the top pick in the Draft for the St. Louis Rams. After today there are really only two options for the Rams, draft him or trade the pick.
What Bradford did today was nothing short of awesome. He was 49 of 50 throwing the football to moving targets with the only incompletion coming on a wide receiver drop. He threw the ball to every route perfectly and also bombed one 65 yards on the fly.
Bradford said after the workout that, "I think it showed everyone I can make all the throws." Granted all of this is in a very controlled environment but Bradford did everything he can do without handling "live" drills with defensive lineman coming after him full speed.
Today's workout was so impressive that longtime NFL executive Gil Brandt said, "That's the best that I have seen since Troy Aikman."
