City trying to keep President's Casino gaming license in St. Louis

(KMOV)- The President's Casino on the Admiral will close within the next 3 months. The city is trying to keep the gaming license, and the jobs and revenue that come with it, in St. Louis.

During a monthly meeting, the St. Louis Development Corporation got permission to seek a new casino for St. Louis.

If the city can keep the gaming license in St. Louis, the new casino would not necessarily be downtown. It could be built anywhere along the riverbanks, but there have been discussions about a site near the Chain of Rocks Bridge in the past.
