Springfield father, son missing on boating trip

STOCKTON, Mo. (AP) -- A father and son from Springfield are missing after their boat capsized on Stockton Lake.

The Missouri State Water Patrol and the Missouri Highway Patrol are continuing a search of the lake in southwest Missouri that began Saturday afternoon.

The Water Patrol says 36-year-old William Keese and his son, 8-year-old Nathan Keese, were reported missing after their utility boat was found capsized. They were last seen leaving a campground by boat.

A search on Sunday night was unsuccessful. The effort resumed Monday.
