(BaseballStL) -- St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday will be out for Game 7 against the Texas Rangers due to a sprained right wrist.

Holliday injured his wrist diving back to third base on a pickoff throw in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Holliday was called out and later replaced by Allen Craig.

Holliday, who has struggled in the World Series, was 3-for-19 with no RBIs against the Rangers.

Adron Chambers will replace Holliday on the roster and Craig will start Game 7 in left field.
