(BaseballStL) -- Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz’s home run gave the Rangers a 6-4 lead in the top of the 7th inning and tied the all-time single postseason record for home runs.

Cruz’s eight postseason home runs have tied Barry Bonds and Carlos Beltran for most in a single postseason.

Cruz hit six home runs against the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS and two against the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.
