2006 World Series MVP throws first pitch before Game 6

(BaseballStL) -- Former St. Louis Cardinals shortstop and 2006 World Series MVP David Eckstein was on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 6 at Busch Stadium. 

Eckstein was named MVP after the Cardinals defeated the Detroit Tigers to clinch the franchise’s 10th World Series Championship.  He hit .364 with 4 RBIs in the 2006 World Series.

Eckstein hit .297 in three seasons played for the Cardinals from 2005-2007.
