ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Irate drivers in north St. Louis say they are frustrated after getting parking tickets on their own street.

Several residents were ticketed in the 4900 block of Highland in north St. Louis. This is the same area where Laclede Gas is making improvements.

Residents say they know they have to move their vehicles on the last Tuesday of every month so street sweepers can clean, but they say they have nowhere else to park.

News 4 called city officials to let them know what’s going on, and the treasurer’s office agreed to dismiss the violations.

Anyone who received a $10 ticket should call 314-622-3689 to have the issue resolved.
