(KMOV) -- The Maryland Heights Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting Tuesday evening to discuss plans to build a controversial retail and entertainment center in the area.
Developers have planned for the center to be built near Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in Maryland Heights.
Residents in both Creve Coeur and Maryland Heights oppose the project citing traffic, destruction of wildlife and noise and light pollution as reasons for their concerns.
The Planning Commission will meet with the City Planner to address concerns about traffic and economic impact Tuesday evening.
Developments from Tuesday's meeting could move the project forward or hault plans for the development altogether.
