Robber on probation accused of breaking into home, having loaded gun

Police say they caught a repeat offender.

Dyjuan Morrow would have been in prison had he not been given a lenient sentence. Morrow was on probation for robbery when police say he committed another crime. In April, prosecutors wanted to lock him up for five years for the robbery, but a judge gave him probation.

Over the weekend, Morrow was arrested for burglary, carrying a loaded handgun and resisting arrest in south St. Louis. I talked to people who live in the LaSalle area where Morrow is accused of committing his latest crime.

"I don't think the laws are tough enough," Danny Webb says. "I think he should have done a little time, or if he did do some time, he didn't do enough."

Morrow now faces four new felony charges.
