(BaseballStL) -- The St. Louis Cardinals hope to rebound following a 4-0 loss in Game 4 against the Texas Rangers on Sunday to tie the series 2-2.
The good news for the Cardinals is that Chris Carpenter will start Game 5. But what might be the most impressive stat for the Cardinals during this postseason is the team has not lost back-to-back games.
The last time the Cardinals lost back-to-back games was on September 22 (vs. Mets) and September 23 (vs. Cubs). The last time the Cardinals lost to the same opponent in back-to-back games was on August 23 and 24 against the Dodgers.
The Cardinals will face the Rangers in Game 5 on Monday night.
