(KMOV.com) -- The driver of the vehicle that crashed into a utility pole in Creve Coeur on Friday afternoon has died. The four-year-old passenger is in the hopsital and is expected to survive.
The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. on Lindbergh Boulevard near Corporate Square Drive. Officers said a vehicle with two people inside left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Investigators are now trying to figure out how or why the driver lost control.
The driver, 50, and the four-year-old were taken to an area hospital and are listed in serious condition.
