Steve Templeton outlines weekend meteor shower

This weekend, earth will pass through debris that was left behind from Halley's Comet.  This will create a meteor shower with estimates of 15 meteors per hour.  Here is a link of a map on where to look Saturday morning when the meteor shower will be best viewed.

By the way, a meteor is the name given to debris burning up in the earth's atmosphere.  A meteoroid is the name give to the debris when it's floating in space.  And a meteorite is the name given to the debris if it survives earth's atmosphere and lands on the surface of earth.
