(BaseballStL) -- Texas Rangers Game 1 starting pitcher C.J. Wilson may have lost the game he pitched against the St. Louis Cardinals, but he was impressed with atmosphere at Busch Stadium nonetheless.

Wilson tweeted “Feels good to be heading back home to our fans in Texas...gotta say that STL is a pretty awesome atmosphere but we for sure make more noise.”

Wilson pitched 5.2 innings and allowed four hits, three earned runs and six walks in the Game 1 loss to the Cardinals.

The Cardinals and Rangers will play Game 3 in Texas on Saturday at 7:05 CT.  Series is tied 1-1.
