St. Charles County elected official slapped with sexual harassment lawsuit

(KMOV) -- A St. Charles County elected official is being sued for sexual harassment.

An employee says Election Authority Director Rich Chrismer stalked and groped her and made a hostile work environment.

Court documents show she also made two formal sexual harassment complaints against Chrismer within the past year.

Chrismer denies any wrong-doing. His attorney tells News 4 that the allegations are false.

The county declined to comment on the case. It will write a formal answer to the courts by mid-November.

The employee is seeking more than half a million dollars in damages.
