(BaseballStL) -- St. Louis Cardinals pinch hitter Allen Craig got the best of Texas Rangers reliever Alexi Ogando again in Game 2 with a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the 7th inning. The game was scoreless at the time.
Craig hit the eventual game-winning run in against Ogando in the bottom of the 6th inning of Game 1.
Craig entered both games as a pinch hitter with a runner on first and third with two outs and smashed opposite field singles to right field to plate the go-ahead run.
Ogando was 2-0 with a 1.17 ERA in four games (7.2 IP) pitched against the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS.
