(KMOV) -- One man is dead and another man is hospitalized after two separate shootings took place in St. Louis City overnight.
The first shooting took place in the 5500 block of Clemens, just northwest of Union and Delmar around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday evening.
According to police a 50-year-old man was shot several times in his leg. The man was transported to a local hospital shortly after the shooting where is was pronounced dead.
Police do not have any information surrounding the circumstances of this shooting at this time. Police do know the victim was outside at the time of the shooting. No suspects are in custody at this time.
The second shooting took place in the 1300 block of Montclair in west St. Louis just after 12:20 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say the victim was shot several times while sitting on his porch after two men walked up to him and opened fire.
Authorities have identified the victim as a 20-year-old male and he is currently listed in critical condition.
Police say they are looking for a gray Pontiac Grand Am that might be involved in this shooting.
There is no word if the two shootings are related at this time.
An investigation is on-going for both shootings.
