(BaseballStL) -- The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Tuesday that Jaime Garcia will start against the Texas Rangers for Game 2 on Thursday at Busch Stadium.

Garcia is 0-2 with a 5.74 ERA in three starts during this postseason.  Garcia has not pitched more than 4.2 innings in his each of his last two starts (both against Milwaukee Brewers).

Tony La Russa also indicated that most likely Kyle Lohse will pitch Game 3 and Edwin Jackson will pitch Game 4.  Both games will be played in Texas.
