By Thursday, all dogs were at the Humane Society of Missouri’s headquarters on Macklind Ave.

“Each dog will be spayed or neutered, but many of them will require additional treatment and socialization before they are healthy and ready for adoption.,” said Humane Society of Missouri President Kathy Warnick.

The shelter says staff worked throughout the day to provide each animal with a thorough veterinary exam and vaccinations, along with a warm kennel with clean bedding and fresh food and water.

Anyone interested in adopting the dogs or amking a donation to help them are asked to visit the Humane Society of Missouri website.
