(KMOV) – A St. Louis man was charged Wednesday after allegedly stabbing his mother’s fiancé to death during a fight.
Nathaniel Fuhrmann-Crockett, 21, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action by the Circuit Attorney’s Office.
On Friday, October 11, officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 7500 block of Vermont and discovered the fiancé unconscious and suffering from lacerations to his chest and abdomen.
The fiancé, Richard Kraemer, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation revealed the incident stemmed from an ongoing feud between Kraemer and Fuhrmann-Crockett, whom he lived with.
Following a physical confrontation, authorities say Fuhrmann-Crockett stabbed Kraemer with a knife and fled the scene.
He was taken into custody by St. Louis County Police and later turned over to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
Fuhrmann-Crockett is being held on a $300,000 cash-only bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
