(KMOV) – A man faces charges after he allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover police officer on six different occasions in St. Charles County earlier this year.
Brian Weir was charged with six counts of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
According to court documents, Weir sold at least 1.5 grams of cocaine to an undercover officer five times between Aug. 22 and Sept. 19.
Police said Weir again met with the officer to sell him drugs in the 100 block of Westfield Dr. on Sept. 30. Authorities said immediately after the officer purchased the drug, Weir got out of the vehicle and was approached by detectives who tried to place him under arrest.
Police said Weir attempted to run but was quickly apprehended by officers.
Weir remains in custody at the St. Peters Police Department.
Court documents show Weir has an extensive criminal record, including convictions of domestic assault, DWI and drug distribution.
