INDIANA -- A lost dog in Indiana managed to do something a lot of humans can't -- he ran a half marathon.
Boogie managed to escape from his yard and joined runners at the starting line in Evansville, Indiana.
When the runners took off, so did Boogie.
After he crossed the finish line, confused race organizers took him to a nearby animal shelter where his owner quickly tracked him down.
Boogie was awarded a medal for his feat, and police said he is the first dog to run a half marathon without assistance from a human.
