Police: Reckless driving likely the cause of rollover accident in Illinois

(KMOV.com) -- A driver, traveling along Route 4 in St. Clair County, Illinois, lost control and flipped his vehicle Thursday morning.
 
Authorities said the accident  happened near Lischer Road around 7:10 a.m.  According to police, the driver lost control of his vehicle and it traveled off the road, flipped, took out two mail boxes and hit a sign.  Officers with the Illinois State Police said a call came out a short time before the accident to be on the lookout for this vehicle because of reckless driving.
 
Police said reckless driving was likely the cause of the accident, but they are still investigating.
 
The 33-year-old male driver was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
