Injury keeps Blues forward out two games

(HockeyStL) -- St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie is expected to miss the next two games due to a wrist injury.

Oshie will be held out of the lineup for Monday against the Dallas Stars and Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings because of a ligament injury he suffered to his left wrist.

Fans can partially take a sigh of relief because surgery is not needed and the injury was not to the right wrist which he injured earlier this season against the Minnesota Wild.

Head coach Ken Hitchcock told reporters after Monday’s practice that Oshie is expected to play against the Nashville Predators on Friday.

Oshie has 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists) with a plus-eight rating in 34 games played this season.
