For the second year in a row a campaign at Christmas is helping The BackStoppers help families of fallen police officers and firefighters.
Ornaments for officers raised more than $5,000 last year.
Area businesses have Christmas trees in their lobby full of donated ornaments for sale. Each one, new or old, expensive or cheap sells for $3.
People donate the ornaments throughout the year and they're put on sale after Thanksgiving and through Christmas Eve.
For specifics on where you can see and buy them or how to donate some of your own, check out http://www.ornamentsforofficers.com/.
