O'Fallon, Illinois husband surrenders after shooting car of wife's boyfriend

O’FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – An O'Fallon, Illinois man has been charged for allegedly shooting a car that his wife’s boyfriend was driving early Sunday morning.
This happened in the 700 block of Ember Crest Drive in Fairview Heights.
Officials say a 52-year-old woman contacted the Fairview Heights Police Department at 1:53 a.m. requesting assistance. The woman told police that her 56-year-old boyfriend was close to her house and was being followed by her husband, Craig Nance.
According to police, the victim noticed a pickup truck following him on Ember Crest Drive that he suspected belonged to Nance. Nance reportedly got out of his truck to confront him, but the victim fled the scene. Police said as he drove off he heard something strike his vehicle.
Officers found that the victim's vehicle had been shot, and police said additional evidence indicated that the suspect shot at the vehicle while in the 600 block of Ember Crest Drive. No one was injured during the incident.
Later that morning, Nance turned himself into the Fairview Heights Police Department where he was taken into custody.
