CASEYVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- Authorities say Perry County Sheriff Keith Kellerman has been ticketed with public indecency in southern Illinois.
According to a Caseyville Police Department officer's report, the 48-year-old Pinckneyville man and another man were arrested early Friday after an officer allegedly saw them engaging in a sex act in a car. Authorities say the car was parked under a street light in Caseyville.
The two men were issued ordinance violations. They have a Jan. 12 hearing in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Kellerman did not return messages seeking comment.
The Democrat was first elected sheriff of Perry County in 1998. He was re-elected in 2010.
