Three East St. Louis City employees on leave; investigation pending

(KMOV.com) -- The City of East St. Louis has placed three employees on administrative leave, pending further investigation.
The city took the action on Saturday night and again on Monday morning. According to Mayor Alvin Parks, the employees were placed on leave due to possible infractions of the law and lack of compliance with city policy and procedure.
Two employees with the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Department and one Police Department employee are on leave. At this time, the three employees have not been arrested or charged with any crime.
